About the position

You will be liaising with the Police, Centre against Violence, Courts, Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services agencies along with the Family Violence network. And internally working closely with the Men’s Behavioural Change Team, which is designed to enhance the safety of women and children by assisting the perpetrators of family violence to change their behaviours.

Developing a best practice approach to provide intensive case management for men who are perpetrators of family violence, assisting MBC Intake to respond to referrals, coordinating assessments and maintain engagement with men waiting to begin the program you will participate in post group follow up initiatives with clients

What do you need to achieve

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, or Behavioural, or Health or Social Sciences
  • Demonstrated experience in case management working with clients with high and complex needs min 2 years
  • Capacity to deal effectively with difficult and or challenging client behaviours
  • Capable of being an advocate using sound negotiation skills
