The Far West Aboriginal Community Leaders Group (FWACLG), the Commonwealth Department of Social Services, and the South Australian State Government have come together to implement a Stronger Places, Stronger People initiative in communities in the Far West of South Australia. The role of the Chief Executive is a leader who will initiate and manage the implementation of a collective impact approach for community-led change. This involves bringing together multiple, diverse stakeholders to work together and in ways that prioritise shifting power to the community and building readiness to lead a movement for change.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of authentic engagement with Aboriginal communities, with demonstrated ability to work respectfully and responsively in the cultural and social context. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is essential, together with high-level project management and systems change skills. A successful National Police Check, Department for Communities and Social Inclusion Clearance, and current Driver’s License are also required.
