About the Role:

The Donor Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the stewardship of FRRR’s Individual donors.

You will be responsible for refreshing, improving and maintaining FRRR’s fundraising strategy as it relates to our valued Individual donors – ensuring they are appropriately thanked and recognised, communicated with, and reported to. This role will encompass individual donor appeals, regular and workplace giving, community fundraising and management of living gifts and gifts-in-wills. In so doing, the role will support the fundraising of all of FRRR’s collaboratively funded programs, encompassing core grant programs such as Strengthening Rural Communities, Back To School, Tackling Tough Times Together, and the FRRR ABC Youth Innovation Grants program, in addition to FRRR’s Grant Corpuses such as the Disaster Resilience and Recovery Fund.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Act as a primary and ongoing point of contact for FRRR’s Individual donors – providing timely, accurate and compliant information whilst seeking to build and maintain authentic relationships for the benefit of rural, regional and remote Australian communities – drawing upon the General Manager – Partnerships & Services, FRRR CEO and Board as and when appropriate;
  • Monitor performance of FRRR’s relationships with its valued Individual Donors;
  • Develop and ensure the effective delivery of the Individual Donor campaign schedule;
  • Seek out and plan engagement opportunities for donors that provide insight into the opportunities and challenges in rural, regional and remote communities;
  • Continuously improve FRRR’s Individual donor support including the donor care plan, CRM system, and stewardship to increase and sustain the base of discretionary and issue focussed funding available for FRRR’s granting programs;
  • Grow the funding available across FRRR’s Grant Corpuses and core granting programs;
  • Provide key administration support, such as issuing personal receipts, preparing and distributing reports, responding to enquiries and ensuring donor thank you calls and correspondence is made;
  • Maintain rigorous donor management records, ensuring up to date records of all interactions is maintained within FRRR’s CRM; and

As a key role in the organisation, the Donor Engagement Coordinator must also seek out opportunities to understand the needs and opportunities in rural, regional and remote Australia to inform our programs and services, ensure effectiveness and deliver programs that are innovative and relevant and that meet identified needs and will achieve positive impact.
