Purpose:

The role of the Sales and New Partnerships Specialist is to secure new business and corporate partnerships, and the funds required for Free To Shine to secure the safety and education of girls. This exciting role will utilise your passion to identify, cultivate and develop new partnerships. This role has a core focus on increasing income for Free To Shine. You will have the ability to demonstrate the unique value that Free To Shine offers its business and corporate partners and the ability to show the impact the organisation is making.

Location:

Noosa, Sunshine Coast. Occasional out of hours work will be required with time in lieu. Based primarily on the Sunshine Coast with regular days in Brisbane, and annual trips to Sydney and Melbourne required.

About Free To Shine:

Free To Shine is an international child protection organisation (NGO) working in partnership with local communities to prevent the exploitation and trafficking of girls. We do this by strengthening family and community systems to prioritise the safety and education of their children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive client acquisition through our employee giving, and Business Matters program.
  • Drive the prospect pipeline, ensuring that relationships are continually progressed through the pipeline to deliver significant income growth and a high ROI.
  • Deliver presentations in workplaces and host monthly sales webinar.
  • Assist Managing Director at business conferences and other speaking engagements.
  • Report to MD on sales activity, pipeline activity and forecasted revenue.
  • Meet with MD to regularly review sales performance, aiming to meet expectations and capacity targets.
  • Model Free To Shine's values and associated behaviours at all times such as honesty, respect, integrity, transparency, flexibility, hard work, and embracing challenges.

Experience Required:

  • Experience within a sales role and demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets.
  • Proven success in building and maintaining strong professional relationships with business and corporate leaders.
  • Professional experience delivering presentations and hosting webinars desired, but notessential.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to identify stakeholder needs; what they value and how to motivate and communicate with them.
