Fossil Free SA (FFSA) is a climate action group based in Adelaide. Our current #BreakAwayFromGas campaign aims at ending Santos’ sponsorship of the Tour Down Under international cycling race. Our friendly volunteer team works closely with 350.org Australia, which offers many training opportunities, as well as access to a global network of climate activists and campaigns aimed at ending the use of fossil fuels. If you’re looking for new directions in 2021, and have a good knowledge of climate change issues, we’d love to hear from you.

The Social Media Coordinator will manage and build the social media profile of FFSA and its campaigns. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent knowledge of Facebook features & processes, great organising and design skills, and concise writing skills. Time: 2-3 hours per week for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and grow the FFSA Facebook page
• Coordinate relevant Facebook posts related to FFSA campaigns
• Create and monitor Facebook events/ advertisements
• Work with 350 Australia to develop new social media strategies
