Forensic mental health is a specialist area within the mental health service system. The services provided by Forensicare address the needs of offenders experiencing mental health issues, the mental health sector, the justice sector and the general community. These services are delivered through three streams, inpatient services at Thomas Embling Hospital, community services through the Community Forensic Mental Health Service and prison-based services at several locations. This position will be based at Fairfield and you will be required to work across all Forensicare sites.
The Senior Business Partner will work closely with the Employee Relations Manager to support case management of employees and industrial relations matters across Forensicare. The incumbent will provide sound and timely HR advice to Managers, coach and support two P&C Business Partners with their portfolios and manage a full range of employee relations issues. The incumbent will also drive policy development in key P&C functions. A priority for this role is to ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures, promoting a positive culture. The position will also participate in and lead organisational change projects or other people and culture initiatives.
