Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure and Site Services, in your role you will:

• Conduct supplier analysis, optimise spend opportunities and facilitate and manage sourcing processes with all stakeholders
• Deliver Forensicare’s Activity Plan and be responsible for prioritisation and monitoring of the Plan
• Provide advice and support with procurement contract reviews and execution and support and educate staff in their procurement roles
• Positive promotion of the utilisation of the Procurement and Logistics team internally, building procurement procurement competence
• Establish KPIs for a basis for supplier performance management
• Analysis and report with recommendations for decision making
• Prepare annual Modern Slaver Statement and mitigate for Forensicare’s supply chain
• Ensure adherence and provide sound advice, particularly with the Victorian Government Purchasing Board and Ministerial Directions for Public Construction in Victoria
• Develop systems, processes and tolls, resources and document to maintain continual improvements
• Contribute to a positive culture of high performance and business improvement

What you will bring to the role is:

• Qualification in procurement or qualifications with a definable procurement component, and/or have proven experience and expertise in managing a procurement function
• Knowledge of government policies and guidelines would be an advantage
• Experience in providing support and sound advice with contract management processes
• High level business analytical, research skills with sound judgement to recommend solutions
• Experience delivering effective procurement improvement initiatives
• Be self-motived, a strong communicator, forward-thinking with a positive, collaborative approach with stakeholders
• Experience working with VendorPanel or other eProcurement environments an advantage
• You must be willing to obtain a current Police Check
