Flying Fox is a youth-led organisation that provides social opportunities to young people with a disability.
Over the last 7 years, Flying Fox has grown into an inclusive and warm community that has provided countless opportunities to hundreds of young people with a disability. These programs have been made possible by a network of passionate young adult volunteers.
The General Manager – Volunteers is a newly created leadership role at Flying Fox, responsible for leading and coordinating the organisation's network of 600 volunteers.
A key piece of the Flying Fox puzzle is that all volunteers are supported to grow as individuals and as disability advocates through their involvement in the organisation. The General Manager – Volunteers will, therefore, be responsible for overseeing the relationship management, professional development and empowerment of the volunteer network.
LGBTIQ, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, those from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people with disability are all encouraged to apply.
