The position

The Retail Operations Manager is a full time, permanent role based across Family Life Opportunity Shops in Bayside and Kingston, and our Warehouse in Moorabbin, providing effective leadership to the Social Enterprise team. The position is responsible for the effective running of our opportunity shops to deliver an exemplary customer service, and ensuring the retail business operates as a profitable social enterprise.

A day in the life of this position includes:

• Successfully managing a team of employees, students and volunteers to ensure the effective running of all Family Life Opportunity Shops and warehouse and logistics operations.
• Under your leadership, the team will be cohesive and collaborative, guided by your ability to develop efficient rosters, provide ongoing coaching, support and communication and your proactive management style.
• You will review sales results, customer service feedback and ensure targets are met whilst quality standards are maintained and improved.
• Supporting all of this with your ability to provide accurate financial reporting, cash handling, banking and administration.
