Who we are looking for

We are looking for a skilled, passionate individual who embodies the Family Life Way principles to deliver trauma-informed support to our clients and achieve positive outcomes for communities.

What we offer

Family Life team members have access to generous employee benefits including salary packaging, flexible work arrangements (including Rostered Day Off and Purchased Leave schemes), Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, clinical supervision and training and professional development opportunities.

The program

The Strength2Strength program is Family Life’s Family Violence and Trauma Repair program, led by Family life in partnership with SECASA, Peninsula Health, Salvation Army and Good Shepherd. The innovative program has been developed in response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence (2016), which highlighted the need for family violence services to adopt a trauma-informed approach to practice. The Stregth2Stregth program provides trauma-informed interventions through a multi-disciplinary team consisting of an Occupational Therapist, Children’s Counsellor, Sexual Assault Counsellor and Therapeutic Intervention Practitioners. Family Life led the pilot program for Stregth2Strength in the Bayside Peninsula region and has been successfully granted the ongoing contract for the region in conjunction with our partners. The Stregth2Stregth program has also been recognised in the 2019 GiveEasy Innovation Index in the Disruptive Transformation Project category.
