THR ROLE:

We are looking for Support Workers who are values-driven, compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing the highest level of quality care and support to join our team at Casa Mia House on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. This is a key role, working to enable and empower our housemates to live independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Delivering personalised support in the home and out in the community based on the needs and interest of the housemates
  • Assisting housemates to create healthy meals, with personal care and administering medications
  • Support housemates to engage and participate in the community and assist with medical appointments
  • Enter case notes into the Client Management System

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experienced, professional with a positive and passionate approach to providing the highest level of support
  • Be energetic, ambitious, and seeking to learn and grow in the role
  • A commitment to providing responsive, person-centred, and considerate care
  • Flexible and adaptive communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexibility to work morning, evening, and weekends
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID003) Certificates
  • Fully Covid Vaccination including Booster
  • Full NSW Driver's Licence & a reliable vehicle
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Experience with Behaviour Management - desirable but not essential
