About the role

You will work with the education team to develop and implement updates to course content, assessment, and associated materials to improve learning journeys and education pathways for FIA Core Education courses in online, blended and F2F delivery modes. 

About you

You will be energetic, people-orientated and motivated with exceptional course development skills, an eye for detail and experience in adult education, and higher education course and assessment design. Your ability to work across multiple projects and deliver tasks on time will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Education team to review, develop, and implement changes to FIA’s core education courses and program. 
• Research for course content: sources, reports, articles, statistics, and citations
• Liaise with subject matter experts and tutors to review existing course materials, learner/tutor guides, readings and supporting materials. 
• Update and/or create content in PPTs, word, excel, pdf, SCORM and other course authored tools, as well as referencing.
• Administration and management of relevant software systems including: LMS, and course authoring tools.
• Maintenance and version control of all related learning materials, processes, and guidelines.
• Research, analyse and implement various measures that contribute to quality learning outcomes, student experience and continuous improvement.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience in educational design of a range of education courses, professional development workshops that includes competency and KSA mapping, assessment design and course design in online, blended and F2F learning.
• Knowledge of the AQF, ASQA and TEQSA requirements, and a range of learning theories and learning design methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills to manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects
• 2+ years’ design experience with Adobe Captivate.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), online eLearning tools and course authoring tools.
• Be able to liaise with internal and external subject matter experts to use an iterative process to implement course updates and maintain all learning materials and supporting collateral for both online and F2F courses.
• Review existing course materials, learner and tutor guides, readings and supporting documentation for continual improvement.
• A demonstrated ability in maintaining schedules and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• An ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• An ability to work well in a small team
• Excellent interpersonal skills

This is part-time contract role of approximately 18-22 hours per week for three to six months. Days and times are negotiable. The hourly rate is $60 + super.  The location is the FIA office in Chatswood though some remote working is possible.
