ABOUT YOU

You are a Microsoft Suite guru! You take pride in providing technical advice and support to a broad range of stakeholders at varying levels while being equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to deliver changes yourself. You understand the importance of providing clear and practical support for the complex needs of your stakeholders while managing their competing priorities. You may not have NFP or international development experience but are ready to utilise your skills towards making a social impact!

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Development Lead is responsible for leading the ongoing development, support, and implementation of Dynamics 365 in various roles at The Fred Hollows Foundation, as well as participating in other technology projects using Microsoft technologies including Azure, Office 365, SharePoint online and the Power Platform tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing, extending/building, and maintaining The Foundation’s Dynamics 365 NFP Accelerator implementation for the needs of The Foundation. This includes a suite of Dynamics and PowerApps forms, Dataverse entities, custom business workflows, custom actions, and plugins.
  • Conducting regular review and feedback sessions to identify gaps and future business needs to support ongoing improvements and developments in Dynamics and O365.
  • Educating team members and other colleagues on best practice in the Dynamics 365 development.
  • Participating in or leading the technical implementation of other Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules or functions.
  • Extending and maximising use of Microsoft technologies including Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and the Power Platform tools.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to support new business systems, integrations, and process changes to continually improve organisation data capture, data hygiene and data usage for facilitation of improved business decision making
  • Other tasks as requested by your manager

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Strong experience in D365 development
  • Strong experience in D365 customisation and integration development.
  • Strong experience in educating, supporting, and engaging with business users in the rollout of D365 systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build and implement solutions using D365 modules with customisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, coach and mentor colleagues in D365 best practice solutions.
  • Strong experience in the usage of the MS Power platform with both SharePoint and D365

Highly Desirable

  • Project management of small succinct projects
  • Experience with Agile development and project management
  • Experience with more complex development (.Net or similar)
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar degree qualifications
