Fernlea Community Care provides centre-based day respite and in-home care for people with life limiting illness, chronic conditions and dementia, across the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to manage these services.

As the successful applicant you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, personal carers and volunteers, promoting a culture that is person-centred, and which focuses on the client’s social, physical, emotional and clinical well-being.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Bachelor of Nursing qualifications (or equivalent) with current AHPRA Registration
• Significant experience managing staff
• A genuine caring and client-centred approach to your work
• Qualifications in the areas of palliative care and/or dementia will be highly regarded
• Outstanding communication, observational and reporting skills
• Excellent time management with a proactive attitude
