You are a big picture thinker who is able to bring together technical experts and resources to drive excellence and deliver better outcomes for our members and communities. You value collaboration in the delivery of key outcomes, and are well versed in strengthening capacity across internal and external stakeholder groups.

You have broad experience across quality improvement, impact or service design areas, as well as strategy development, planning and implementation. You can strategically support key sector priorities - utilising your strong negotiation and consultation ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.

A proactive, flexible and hands on leader, you are committed to supporting your team in the delivery of targeted strategies, plans and activities to enhance Federation and sector capacity and impact.

About Us

The Federation is the peak body for Victoria’s Community Legal Centres (CLCs). Our members are at the forefront of helping those facing economic, cultural or social disadvantage and whose life circumstances are severely affected by their legal problem.

For over 40 years CLCs have been the heart of a powerful movement for social change, reshaping how people access justice, creating stronger more equitable laws, and more accountable government and democracy.

As their peak body, we work with and support CLCs to fight for a fairer, more just community.

Context

As our organisation goes through a period of positive growth, it is critical to ensure the community legal sector is positioned to meet future opportunities and challenges to continue to drive social justice for the Victorian community.

The newly created role of Quality & Impact Manager will facilitate effective sector consultation and engagement to deliver and embed member-led and evidence-based strategic priorities as part of the broader 10 year sector plan.

About the role

You will drive sector excellence and continuous improvement, recognising the importance of data and evidence, evaluation and impact, and workforce training and development for supporting effective delivery of services and community outcomes.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of a 10 year Sector Plan and Sector Workforce Strategy and associated activities, facilitating strong consultation and engagement from members and stakeholders – to assess key issues and develop effective strategies.

You will focus on identifying challenges and opportunities for ongoing sector – and Federation team – development, impact and improvement.

You will foster an environment of collaboration and capably lead your team to identify and capitalise on opportunities to strengthen the sector’s capacity to improve services, support workforce development and meet community need through the development and implementation of strategic capacity building activities.

Rewards and Benefits

The base salary offered is $95,000 - $100,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time), plus annual leave loading and superannuation. The Federation offers a generous FBT salary packaging program (up to $18,550 pa of your salary tax free).
