You might be who we are looking for to work on Relationship Ready, a project aimed at increasing the capacity of school communities across QLD to deliver relationships and sexuality education.

As our Project Officer you will:

  • Contribute to Relationship Ready, a project aimed at addressing barriers and improving delivery of relationships and sexuality education across Queensland.
  • Develop resources for young people, educators, and parents/carers.

You may:

  • Deliver school and community-based relationships, sexuality and reproductive health education.
  • Deliver education and training to professionals in the area of relationships and education. 

True Relationships and Reproductive Health (True) is a leading provider of reproductive and sexual health services to people in Queensland. True offers clinical services, education, information and a sexual assault service across Queensland from its offices located in Brisbane, Cairns, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast.

Selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current context regarding the sexuality and relationship needs of young people.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating school based and/ or community education and training; along with tertiary qualifications in education, community development, human services, behavioural science, allied health or creative arts. 
  • Skills in the development of written and online resources and/or training 
  • Relevant qualifications in education, community development, human services, behavioural science, allied health and/or experience in education or training.
  • Ability to develop partnerships with relevant government and non-government services and organisations.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, email and spreadsheet software programs
