This is a 12-month parental leave backfill position. 

True is looking for a Project Coordinator – Culturally Responsive Health to assist with the delivery of professional development and resources for clinicians, health workers, community workers, interpreters and community members from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

The Culturally Responsive Health Project seeks to improve reproductive and sexual health outcomes for people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. The project delivers a range of professional development, support and resources for clinicians and health workers, community workers, interpreters and translators and community members.

Selection criteria:

• Qualifications in health, education or a relevant field.
• Experience working with people from migrant and refugee backgrounds and a developed understanding of culturally affirming support needs in the area of health.
• Experience in developing and/or delivering education and training, and facilitation of workshops, events, community consultation and engagement. Experience in health promotion in the area of sexual and reproductive health is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining relationships with varied key stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated ability in coordinating project work, achieving and reporting on project deliverables and supervising staff.
• Technical literacy (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Knowledge of online learning is desirable.
• Current driver’s license as travel is required at times.
