  • Hours: 45 per fortnight (Preferred days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week)
  • This position is a fixed term part time contract through to 30 Jun 2022 with possibility of extension
True Relationships and Reproductive Health (True) has a vacancy for a Program Coordinator to work autonomously delivering education on relationships and sexuality.

As a Program Coordinator you will:

  • Coordinate education projects and school programs within your designated region
  • Deliver relationships and sexuality education in alignment with True content which is mapped to the National Curriculum
  • Enhance and expand organisational profile, capacity and activities within the relevant region
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs in Education and Community Services

Could this be you?

Selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of sexuality and reproductive health within a health promotion framework
  • Demonstrated knowledge of education techniques for children, young people and adults including diverse learners
  • Some knowledge of sexuality and reproductive health issues for all people including those with a disability and people with complex needs and a willingness to learn
  • Understanding of social, health and education policy and practice intersections with reproductive and sexual health as a preventative pathway
  • Ability to contribute to community, private and public sector partnerships in the design and delivery of reproductive and sexual health projects and services
  • Development of resources for a wide range of audiences with outcomes that relate to education, promotion and knowledge sharing
  • Computer literacy in word processing, email and spreadsheet software programs
  • Currently hold or able to obtain a 'Working with Children Blue Card issued in the State of Queensland (required before commencement of employment)
  • A driver’s licence is required as some travel and out of business hours work may be required
