True Relationships and Reproductive Health (True) has a current vacancy for a Midwife Educator to support our Clinical Education Team to deliver a project funded by Queensland Health aimed at midwives, nurses and nurse practitioners involved in antenatal care.
This role will provide invaluable support in assisting the CEU team to deliver on the funded outcomes. If you have an interest in working on a project to provide midwives, nurse practitioners and nurses with information and resources about syphilis in pregnancy, testing and contact tracing then this is the role for you.
The Midwife Educator will provide assistance in reviewing, developing and delivering content for professional development in hospitals or online under guidance of the Project Lead. Content is already available from existing True courses but requires adaptation to the needs of this project. Development of additional resources and responding to questions via a closed forum are also part of this role as well as contributing to reports.
The Midwife Educator will take a prominent role in fostering strategic relationships which assist in collaboration and partnerships in delivering the outcomes of this project. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel throughout Queensland and is essential to this role. Delivery of face to face education sessions may take place outside of normal business hours.
