We are seeking an experienced, CA or CPA qualified Finance Manager to join our team located at our Head Office in Point Clare on the Central Coast, NSW.

About the business and the role:

Founded in 1962, Fairhaven is a community leader in the provision of services for adults living with disability (primarily intellectual). We work within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) environment and offer community participation, day programs, supported employment opportunities, accommodation and living support, as well as a retail precinct.

The Finance Manager reports to the CEO and is a member of our senior leadership team. You will manage a small team and be responsible for the full range of finance and payroll functions of the organisation including but not limited to, budgeting, Board reporting and variance analysis, audits, reconciliations, NDIS claiming, customer invoicing, BAS, AP, AR and cash flow management.

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic and flexible leader with a high degree of initiative. The role will suit someone who has the ability to think strategically, solve problems and improve processes whilst also happy to manage competing demands with the day to day operations of the function. A demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and associated funding guidelines as well as experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV are highly desirable.
