Chief Executive Officer

eWater Ltd

The Organisation

eWater Limited (eWL) is a not-for-profit scientific institution jointly established and owned by Australian Federal and State governments to maintain and further develop Australia’s world-class water modelling tools and manage activities which support sustainable water management in Australia and overseas.

eWater develops and supports world class water resource modelling tools and applications to support Australia's national modelling platform, eWater Source. eWater continues to develop products and services (Source, MUSIC & Toolkit) representing the encapsulated knowledge for water markets and integrated water management.

eWater was appointed in 2015 by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to manage the Australian Water Partnership (AWP). DFAT funds the AWP in response to growing water challenges in the Indo Pacific region, and the need for better access to Australian water science, technology and management knowledge and expertise. AWP activities are consistent with eWater’s stated objectives and involve the building and sharing of knowledge on water reform through capacity building activities with regional water organisations, industry sectors and civil society by supporting access to Australian water reform policy, management expertise and innovative approaches and technologies.

With support from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), eWL is establishing a branch office in Cambodia, trading as Mekong Water Solutions (MWS). MWS aims to raise the quality and economic returns for water sector investments across the Mekong through a world class set of irrigation and water resource management capabilities by providing technical and capacity building support to Governments, development partners and the private sector on sustainable water resource management and irrigation services.
