You’ll be joining a dedicated, passionate and successful team of 35 people who share a vision of a more equitable, just and sustainable world.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in the ongoing success of a fast-growing social enterprise software company.

You’ll be one of two General Managers leading a dedicated, passionate and successful organisation, with people who share a vision of a more equitable, more just and more sustainable world.

Our team has doubled in size in the last three years, and you'll play a key role in executing our continuing growth plans over coming years.

This role has broad oversight of two of our key teams:

  • Business Development & Relationship Management – currently 4 people; and

  • Customer Service – currently 10 people.

As well as:

  • Events – working with internal stakeholders on our Not-For-Profit People Conference

  • Finance – managing our Finance Officer

Plus shared responsibility for:

  • Strategic planning and execution

  • People & Culture – including recruitment, performance development and culture initiatives

  • Office & Operations – including co-managing our Office & HR Coordinator

About You

First and foremost, you’re someone who’s passionate about making a difference and “working for a better world”, and you’re excited about the work EthicalJobs.com.au does.

You’re also experienced: you’ve played a lead or senior role in a small or medium-sized organisation, including previously leading a team in business development, sales, fundraising and/or customer engagement.

You enjoy being across the detail of business processes, and particularly improving processes over time, and you love to work with numbers and data to spot trends and gain insights.

And you’re a natural people person. Having managed a high performing team, you're experienced in providing feedback to team members and peers and you welcome feedback too. You’ve got a good understanding of employee engagement and you’ve got the self-awareness, passion, nous, energy and attention to detail to be successful as a leader in a growing social enterprise.
