You’ll be joining a dedicated, passionate and successful team of 24 people who share a vision of a more equitable, just and sustainable world.
We work mostly remotely, but you have the option to work from our spacious office in Collingwood which has loads of natural light, high ceilings, standing desks, a large outdoor deck for lunch in the sun and drinks after work, and great food and coffee just around the corner.
This role is a full time maternity leave contract role commencing January 2025 - January 2026.
As a member of our passionate and dedicated 4-person Business Development & Relationships Team, you'll be responsible for strengthening and broadening our ongoing relationships with hundreds of regular advertisers nationally, as well as initiating and developing relationships with organisations that don’t currently advertise on EthicalJobs.com.au.
Working remotely or from our Collingwood office, your work with clients will be via phone, video and email, as we’re not currently doing face-to-face meetings with clients, and may not in the future either.
You’ll be part of a team who are committed to helping a diverse range of Australian for-purpose organisations to find amazing staff and volunteers, so they can change the world more effectively.
You have a background in recruitment, business development and/or fundraising. You’re someone who can establish rapport quickly with a diverse range of people and build long-term relationships with paying clients.You’re friendly, fun and work well as part of a team, but you’ve also got initiative, drive and thoughtfulness, so you can work independently through the day.
You’ve got experience meeting and exceeding goals, and you enjoy spending a good part of your day chatting on the phone.
You’ve ideally also spent some time working in or with not-for-profit organisations, so you already know a little about how these organisations work.
Most importantly, you’re passionate about our vision of a better world and would love the challenge of playing an important role in a growing social enterprise.
