About the Organisation:

The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) is a charitable foundation, built on partnerships between philanthropy, community, government and business. Their mission is to champion the economic and social strength of Australia’s regional, rural and remote communities through partnerships with the private sector, philanthropy and governments.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be required to lead the evaluation framework for grant programs and philanthropic services, produce qualitative and quantitative insights as well as research and collate analytics on rural issues, trends and gaps.

In this exciting new position, you will provide targeted information and support to the Executive team, Program Managers and the Communication Consultant and work collaboratively to prepare reports for the Board and Committees.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in developing and delivering program evaluations using a wide range of data and evidence frameworks and tools to make informed decisions, preferably related to grants programs or philanthropically funded programs.
• A talent for communicating and sharing research insights and evaluations to a range of audiences in an understandable and engaging way.
• Skilled in being in a hands-on role and flair for data analytics and use of business intelligence and data management systems.
• Extensive understanding of socio-economic and environmental issues and opportunities facing rural and remote Australian communities and experience working in rural, regional, or remote Australian settings.
• A solutions and action-focussed mindset that sees data and insights as a tool for empowerment and change.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a solution and action focused mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in social sciences, social impact measurement, and/or philanthropy.
