The Edmund Rice Centre WA has a proud history and an ongoing commitment to assisting people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Established in 1998 to provide essential settlement services and community education activities in the northern suburbs of Perth, the Centre services have expanded widely throughout the metropolitan area with a particular emphasis on young people and youth leadership as a way of ensuring a positive future for all. The Edmund Rice Centre WA is recognised as one of Australia’s leading service providers by community groups, government and other agencies in the field.

ABOUT ROLE

The programs operate in various locations across the Perth Metro Area and successful applicants will need to be available to work at least one of the following time slots:

  1. Monday to Thursday 4-6 pm
  2. Friday 4-8 pm
  3. Saturday from 10 am - 1 pm and 1-5 pm

Applicants should:

  • Have relevant experience or qualification in sports coaching (AFL, Basketball or Soccer), and/or leadership, and/or arts.
  • Have a passion to work with and help to develop young people.
  • Have (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check.
  • Have a current drivers licence and vehicle.
  • Be willing to work as part of a team

Salary is about $26 per hour.
