ABOUT THE ROLE

The Safer Communities Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Safer Communities Project. This includes:

  1. Overall management duties for the project and staff supervision for project coordinators
  2. Coordinating the Common Goal Program at two locations.
  3. Assisting the Executive Leadership Team in such tasks as:
    1. Management of the youth office at Unit 9 Brewer Place Mirrabooka
    2. Assistance with sustainability planning and execution

The Project Manager oversees the delivery of the project, thus providing opportunities for:

  1. Greater access to and improved participation in sport, leadership and arts-based activities
  2. The development of leadership, coaching and management skills that can be applied in a range of sports
  3. Increased physical activity
  4. The building of positive and harmonious relationships with Australian-born youth and adults
