About the Role

The core function of this role is to coordinate and execute EGL’s accounts/finance, budgets and administrative functions and be the “go-to” office administrator. This role will work closely with the firm’s Principal Lawyer and external accountant on finance and accounts matters as well as assisting the team with administrative matters and office coordination. This role will be the sole administrative and finance role within the organisation so we’re looking for someone who can make the role their own and manage their tasks independently. This role is suited to someone who is experienced in accounts and finance but can also perform administrative functions.

About You

You are a seriously well-organised self-starter who brings order to chaos, enjoys solving problems, loves making people’s lives easier and has an eagle eye for detail. You are passionate about supporting a team of lawyers helping our clients solve the climate crisis.

You're flexible, love variety and are happy operating at any level. You thrive on being the "go-to" person for queries about how to get things done and you're adept at sharing information and coaching others. You appreciate the big picture of our mission and balance that with a high level of attention to detail and a collaborative mindset to prioritise your work.
