About the Opportunity

Jungarni-Jutiya now has an exciting and highly varied opportunity for a Services/Programs Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis, with occasional on-call work required. You will be based in Halls Creek, WA, with some travel to surrounding communities, sporadically throughout the year.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a highly varied role that will see you responsible for leading the day to day activities of multiple program areas, ensuring services delivered to the community are of high quality and that best practice standards are followed.

You will be directly responsible for the staff in a variety of program areas, including Financial Counsellors, Financial Capability Workers, the Community Resource Centre, and the Night Patrol unit.

Your day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing staff performance, identifying opportunities for development and ensuring staff have access to appropriate training;
  • Planning, delivering and evaluating holistic case management care for individuals and families with complex needs;
  • Ensuring data collection is conducted appropriately, providing written reports on service performance to the CEO according to funding requirements;
  • Supporting the Board and CEO with investigating future service needs, working with the community and other relevant stakeholders to identify gaps or community needs;
  • Representing Jungarni-Jutiya in the local region, participating in networking meeting and presenting information about their services, as required;
  • Assisting with, or completing, as directed, funding applications for both ongoing funding and one-off grants; and
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with other organisations or agencies that support Halls Creek and surrounding communities, coordinating support for clients with these services as needed.

Jungarni-Jutiya is offering the successful candidate an attractive remuneration circa $80,296, negotiable based on your experience and qualifications, plus super and salary sacrificing.

An additional remote area and air conditioning allowance is available, at $1,581 a fortnight, to significantly increase your take home package. Relocation assistance can be negotiated with the successful candidate, as well as fully furnished, subsidised accommodation at $200 a week for a 2 bedroom unit.
