About Diabetes Australia & the NDSS

Established in 1984, Diabetes Australia is the national body for people affected by all types of diabetes and those at risk. They work in partnership with diabetes health professionals, educators and researchers to help reduce the impact of diabetes on the Australian community.

The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) was formed in 1987, and Diabetes Australia has managed the delivery of the scheme in partnership with successive Australian Governments since its inception. The NDSS aims to enhance the capacity of people with diabetes to understand and self-manage their life with diabetes through access to services, support and subsidised diabetes products.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Manage a quality management system that complies with contractual requirements and conforms with requirements for ISO 9001 certification

A tertiary degree in Business Management or Quality Systems is desirable but not essential, as is exposure to ISO standards and structure.
