Driving a person-centred and practice delivery model to delivery services, you will support and deliver on the individual needs and wishes of the community.
Victoria Daly Regional Council is now looking for a dedicated full-time NDIS Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your key responsibility will be to oversee the leadership and management of the NDIS program, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the program in the region. You will be working out of Katherine, with frequent travel out to communities.

Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a warm and highly empathetic individual with tertiary qualifications in Aged Care/Disability, Finance, Management or similar, and 3 – 5 years of demonstrated experience working in the NDIS sector managing and monitoring NDIS programs.
To succeed in this role, you will be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to effectively develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders, including all levels of governments and the communities that you will be looking after.
You are also required to have the skills to manage and support high-quality service delivery, achieving and maintaining registration and accreditation, strategic planning, financial management, business planning, staff mentoring, coaching and supervision.
As you will have a diverse and innovative team reporting to you, you must have the skills to lead, manage and develop staff from different cultural backgrounds. Working effectively with the team, you will be contributing to an innovative and positive working environment that motivates and supports people to do their best work.
Although not essential, previous experience and knowledge of eTools is highly advantageous.
Please Note: before commencement in this role, it is a requirement that you have a First Aid Certificate, an open Driver’s Licence (preferably manual), an OCHRE card and have completed a Criminal History Check. As you will be working with vulnerable and at-risk people, you must be vaccinated against COVID-19.

In return for the work you will be doing, you will receive an attractive salary package circa $105,914 – $114,061 (dependent on experience) plus 10% super, salary sacrificing options and Remote Area Allowance of $1,039 per annum.
