Formed in 2017 from the merger of several state Asthma Foundations, Asthma Australia is the peak body supporting people living with asthma, working with health professionals, researchers and governments to deliver evidence-based prevention and health strategies to more than half a million people each year.

About the Opportunity

Asthma Australia now has an exciting opportunity for a driven Manager to join their team as part of a full-time, 2 year contract. This role is ideally based in their Chatswood, Sydney office however the Canberra office may be considered.

Leading a small team of staff across the NSW and ACT locations, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of key Asthma Australia initiatives, including state-based and nationwide projects, maintaining strategic partnerships with health based organisations and government bodies to improve the standard of care delivered to people with asthma.

These key initiatives include:

  1. Supporting the delivery of nationwide programs - you will be collaborating with other key stakeholders and colleagues across Asthma Australia to deliver and report against nationally relevant projects and programs matched to your specific skills sets and knowledge,
  2. State specific programs NSW and ACT - You will be working closely with the state teams to identify outcomes and deliverables, develop work plans, and report against NSW and ACT-specific grants and deliverables. This will also include providing hands-on project management support.
