Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation (WYDAC) has dedicated itself to developing the strength, health, confidence and leadership of Warlpiri youth since 1993. Their program aims to promote positive and meaningful future pathways for all young Warlpiri people.

About the Opportunity

WYDAC is currently seeking a passionate Learning Centre Manager to join their team in remote NT. Although based in Yuendumu, you will oversee the Centre in this community and Lajamanu, so some travel will be required.

Reporting to the General Manager - Youth and Family Services , your primary responsibility will be to research, develop and manage the implementation and evaluation of a range of quality programs, courses and activities that respond to local needs in accordance with the aims and objectives of the Learning Centres.

The Learning Centres operate five days a week, and provide a mix of formal and informal, community-driven learning - primarily education sessions that provide information about important community issues. You will be responsible for managing the Learning Centre Coordinators, Officers, and any other staff or volunteers working in the Centres.
