About the Opportunity

Little Miracles now has multiple exciting opportunities available for Early Childhood Teachers to join their team in Medowie & Toronto, NSW on a full-time basis.

Reporting to a room leader/supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children.

More specifically, your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Developing & maintaining positive relationships with all children, families and work colleagues;
  • Building rapport with children through play, engaging in conversation and helping to create learning experiences around their interests;
  • Ensuring the centre environment is developmentally appropriate for children;
  • Regularly monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs; and
  • Being part of a supportive team environment and culture that values collaboration through sharing information and teamwork

About You

To be considered for this role you will have the essential requirements of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in conjunction with a Working With Children's Check. Candidates who possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and prior experience in a previous role will be considered, provided they are studying to obtain their Bachelor's Degree.

You will require the ability to work as part of a cohesive team and assist in the learning and development of younger team members. You will also possess good communications skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with young children and other staff members.

This role requires you to be adaptable and use your own individual strengths and talents while offering the support and training of a dedicated curriculum team. The role is in our preschool room and you will be taking the lead in delivering our Flying Start transition to school program. This is multifaceted and includes rotating table activities, prewriting and pre-reading.
