About the Opportunity

Cairns Regional Domestic Violence Service (CRDVS) now has a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Community Education/Intake Worker to join their team in Cairns. This is a part-time role, working approximately 30 hours per week as part of a 12 month maternity leave contract.

You will be delivering quality education and training services to the community including schools, businesses, or professionals working with individuals who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence.

A key element of this role will be providing confidential and appropriate telephone and front counter information, intake and risk assessment, referrals and crisis counselling for clients as required ensuring victims in crisis receive a timely service.
