Your scope of responsibilities will encompass, but will not be confined to:

  • Overseeing the quality management system to maintain ADEA's ISO certification.

About You

To be considered for this position you will have an extensive background in operations management, with a strong financial understanding and relevant tertiary qualifications (business, accounting, HR etc.).

As a small organisation, this role has more hands-on responsibilities than typical executive-level positions and would either suit someone with significant middle management experience wanting to take the next step in their career, or a current senior manager looking to broaden their skillset.

With oversight of business operations, you will need to have a well-rounded understanding of human resources and risk management, particularly as it relates to the QMS framework and the maintenance of industry accreditation standards.

Working across all facets of the organisation, you will possess strong strategic oversight and experience managing the governance, finance, ICT, HR/risk and office administration aspects of a dynamic business.

You will also demonstrate inclusive leadership qualities and be comfortable engaging staff and stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions and establishing productive working relationships throughout the process.

Moreover, your ability to mentor and support internal staff and managers will be crucial to not only your success, but the success of the organisation moving forward.

While not essential, understanding of the Diabetes or NFP sectors will be seen as highly desirable.

About the Benefits

This is a rare opportunity to join a passionate and supportive organisation in an exciting period of change.

Stepping into this senior management position, you'll be able to truly make the role your own as you assume strategic oversight and grow with the organisation.

With ADEA open to negotiating flexible working arrangements suited to your lifestyle and commitments, the association is dedicated to ensuring a positive work culture and provides additional paid leave over the Christmas and New Year period.

ADEA is offering the successful candidate an attractive salary in line with the seniority of the role plus super and PBI salary sacrificing options.
