The Position

Utilise your dynamic, senior communications and engagement experience to and make a difference in our community! An exciting opportunity awaits you in the position of Communications and Engagement Manager, where you will manage, develop and implement our communications, engagement and marketing strategies.

You will lead a small, energetic communications team who specialise in the areas of internal communications, digital communications, events, stakeholder engagement and media relations and more.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership team, you will provide key advice and support to position our organisation and commissioned services to relevant stakeholders and the community.

About you

You will offer significant experience in developing and operationalising integrated communications, engagement and marketing strategies, along with:

  • Media management and extensive stakeholder engagement experience both externally and internally at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a team
  • Proven understanding of the full spectrum of digital communications (eg social media, intranet, website channels) and experience in managing and delivering digital based communications
  • Relevant qualifications in communications or marketing (or a related discipline)
  • Industry experience in healthcare is a bonus
