About The Role
A 3 to 6 month contract opportunity has arisen at The Ella Centre for a CA / CPA qualified accountant. For the length of the contract the Finance Manager will have primary focus on.
- Taking the Centre through the year end audit process including annual journals with Finance Statements prepared by the auditors
- Re-forecasting of the approved budget after 3 months of the financial year
- Preparing monthly financial reports (P&L and Balance Sheet for Centre and our Trust) plus program analysis and monthly journals
- Managing a small finance team who process AP, AR, NDIS invoicing and fortnightly payroll
- Compliance – BAS, PAYG, Super approval, 2 program acquittals
Desirable Criteria for the role are:
- Excellent communication & influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in the NFP sector, Disability and Aged Care preferable
- Commercial awareness
