The Coordinator, Special Projects, is part of a small, busy team in a beautiful part of the world, Kimberley, Western Australia.
This role requires someone with experience to deliver on diverse, complex, and often competing deadlines to achieve outcomes that are often equally important and critical for the organisation.
Reporting to the CEO and ultimately to the Board and Members of this organisation, this role will support and/or lead economic development, environmental and other projects aligned to social, political, biocultural and spiritual values of the organisation.
As a part of your duties, you will also be expected to support the organisation to meet its’ governance obligations. A great deal of this is with regard to compliance under the CATSI Act (2006) and other legislation/policy that are relevant to core business of an Aboriginal Corporation. This includes regular Board and Member meetings; financial and non-financial performance reporting and evaluation.
