The Wimmera and South West Family Violence Partnership (WSWFV) operates strategically at the local, regional and state level to improve service delivery to those experiencing family violence within our unique rural/remote context. This work occurs within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, closely linked to reforms and initiatives emerging as a result of the Victorian Royal Commission into Family Violence (2016) Report and Recommendations.

Key aspects of the role are to:

• Support overall strategic coherence in the work of the WSWFV Partnership Committee, Operations Committee and Local Area Planning Groups.
• Serve as a neutral facilitator to promote effective dialogue and service integration within these groups
• Facilitate rural research, data collection and analysis; utilising evaluation measurement and critical analysis as tools for ongoing learning and service system adaptation
• Support community engagement and build key relationships across the Western District Area
• Develop effective evidence-based communications and advocacy positions that create an agenda and collaborative drive for positive system level change among participants, policy makers, funding bodies and the public
