The Elizabeth Evatt Community Legal Centre (EECLC) are seeking a passionate and motivated solicitor to join a team of dedicated professionals. We are seeking a solicitor to work out of our office in Katoomba, but who will be providing regular outreach to Bathurst and other towns as required. The position is fulltime (35 hours a week) on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Flexible work arrangements are possible.
We are seeking a solicitor with experience in the area of family law, ADVOs, victims support. Attendance at Bathurst Local Court on AVO list day is likely to be required. Experience with trauma informed practice is essential.
People from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. The position is graded at SCHADS grade 7, with above award conditions and salary packaging available.
