Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre (EDAC) is seeking applications from individuals of CALD background who are literate in at least one language other than English, have tertiary qualifications in the social sciences (TAFE and higher) and have strong links to community networks. This full-time, short term position is available to 30 June 2021.

The successful applicant will be part of a team providing education and awareness about disability to CALD communities, provide information and support to help potential NDIS participants understand, access, and utilise the NDIS services and build connections between CALD people with disability and the NDIS and Partners in the Community.

The Community Connector team receives training and resources to support CALD people with disability to navigate the NDIS registration and plan development process. Please note applicants must address the selection criteria and provide a current curriculum vitae and contact details of at least two referees.
