Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre (EDAC) is a community-based agency that provides statewide disability advocacy services to people from diverse cultural backgrounds, their families and carers. EDAC also works with other agencies to raise awareness of issues impacting on people with disability from CaLD and Aboriginal backgrounds.

EDAC is seeking to employ a part-time Development Manager who will work closely with the management team to deliver on the agency’s strategic plan. The successful applicant will be expected to have experience and skills in strategic and operational planning with strong ability to identify and analyse trends, demonstrated leadership skills and cross-functional collaboration skills, sound communication skills with a strong ability to liaise with a broad range of key stakeholders. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the development and implementation of strategic projects and will possess skills in managing project staff and student interns.

The position is based at EDAC’s headquarters in Osborne Park.

Salary: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Paypoint 8.1. Salary packaging options are available within ATO limits and guidelines. Regular support, training and professional development opportunities are provided.
