Full time: 38 hours per week, 12-month position. This position is being offered in a full-time capacity. Part-time will be considered for the right applicant (minimum 3 days per week).

Location: Darwin CBD (hybrid work opportunities may be considered upon application in line with our Work from Home Policy).

Salary: Range of $76,000 - $83,000 (depending on experience), plus superannuation and five weeks leave

THE ROLE

The Environment Centre NT (ECNT) is looking for an experienced ICT Systems Manager who will be able to work across the organisation and the different systems we use

The ICT Systems Manager will support all of the systems used by the Environment Centre, provide ICT support to staff, ensure good housekeeping and management of the CRM database, the organisation website, the AD accounts of all users, liaise with the ICT support company for hardware and networking issues and ensure the smooth operation of all the social media and software that is used in campaigning.

The IT Officer plays a key role in supporting, managing, and administering our organisation’s CRM System, website and communications channels. This position will be the subject matter expert for the business by providing technical support, guidance and direction on integration, infrastructure, and reporting requirements.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all staff are onboarded, trained, and supported in their use of the CRM system. You will play an integral role in ensuring that the CRM is regularly updated in line with organisational requirements whilst providing insights, data analysis and reporting to inform future program initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will need experience in project management as CRM and IT projects will form a key part of this role.

Key performance measures

  • Functional and technical knowledge and experience with CRMs, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated experience providing specialist and technical advice to maintain a CRM system and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of CRM systems (e.g., Nationbuilder, Dynamics 365 or Salesforce).
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyse critical issues, problem solve and provide solutions in a NFP environment.
  • The ability to take responsibility for role deliverables and assigned tasks, demonstrate autonomy and expert judgement within area of expertise whilst working both independently and as part of a team under the direction of the Campaigns Manager.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Project management experience and/or exposure including the ability to develop project outcomes in line with stream and team timelines and with consideration to multiple inputs.

Selection criteria:

  1. Demonstrable IT systems administration experience
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 – desktop tools
  3. Exposure to and understanding of management/administration of Microsoft 365 (Azure Directory, Email, Sharepoint and Teams)
  4. Experience in administering a CRM system
  5. Experience in managing websites using frameworks like Canva, Wordpress, Weebly
  6. Experience in managing IT vendors/suppliers
  7. Degree in business systems. Information technology, or similar
  8. Excellent written and oral communications skills,
  9. Time management skills, in particular the ability to plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects and maintain tight deadlines.
  10. A commitment to environment protection and action on climate change.

Desirable

  • Experience implementing information management policies and ensuring CRM compliance with information security requirements and standards.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft 365, Nationbuilder, Meta Business Suite including strong functional knowledge and experience of core product offerings and platform.
  • Degree in Information Technology, a related field, or similar practical experience (3 years minimum).
