ABOUT EASY CARE GARDENING

Easy Care Gardening (ECG) is a Non-for-Profit (NFP) Charity, who has been providing gardening services to older people since 1988.

ECG is a My Aged Care provider funded under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).

ECG helps to maintain the gardens of older people within the Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Ku‑ring‑gai and Ryde areas through a dedicated team of horticulturalists, gardeners, and volunteers.

Our Horticulturalists, Gardeners and team of volunteers have provided the gardening services to enable our clients to remain in their homes and enjoy their garden with a level of independence.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Gardening Leader will work independently, with other staff &/or with volunteers to maintain the gardens of our ECG clients. The Gardening Leader will be responsible for leading volunteer teams and assisting the Coordinator as required.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Gardening Services including leading volunteer teams
• The Use of Gardening Equipment and Tools
• Administrative Tasks
