About the role

The Eastern Health PARC Program is an initiative to expand support and treatment options within mental health services. The service is jointly run by the Eastern Health Adult Mental Health Service (EHAMHS) and MIND (Community Mental Health Services).

Linwood PARC is a 8 bed residential facility based in East Ringwood which has 24 hour staffing. The purpose of the facilities is to provide short term intensive residential recovery care. The target group to be served will be adults requiring more support following an inpatient admission prior to returning home or those who are at risk of relapse where participation in the PARC program could prevent relapse from occurring.

About you

We are seeking a dynamic Mental Health Senior Clinician with experience working within a highly demanding, high consumer turnover service for 0.8 EFT based primarily at Maroondah PARC. The applicants need to be highly motivated and innovative, can work autonomously and collaboratively within a small multidisciplinary team. Able to undertake assessment of consumer’s function and implement targeted recovery plans in collaboration with MIND staff.

The team will:

  • Provide individualised treatment to consumers
  • Assist with support required to prevent deterioration
  • Use a collaborative service model

You will:

  • Provide leadership within the PARC
  • Implement the Collaborative Recovery Model
  • Act as a role model & mentor to staff in promoting professional values & ethics in clinical practice
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure high quality of clinical standards, quality improvement & ongoing development of the Rehabilitation Service in line with the PARC & Mental Health Program
