About the role

Mooroolbark Residential Aged Care Service is a facility that provides nursing care to residents with specialized needs and is located in suburb of Mooroolbark, 73a Cambridge road.. We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Nurse Unit Manager who preferably has a past experience of working in the aged care sector, particularly with residents who present with "challenging" behaviours.

About You

As ANUM, you will play a leading role in the coordination and management of the service.

• We’re looking for someone with dual diagnosis capability and who would bring ideas, enthusiasm, passion and an ethos of patient-centred care to the new team.
• As ANUM, you’ll provide clinical leadership for the nursing staff.
• You will effectively coordinate and manage the ward, and ensure a strong commitment to customer service, safety and high quality care.
• You will also ensure professional standards and Eastern Health policies are upheld and great patient outcomes are achieved.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Current registration with AHPRA (essential)
• Recent mental health and nursing experience (within Australia)
• Post graduate mental health qualifications (highly regarded)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• An empathetic and personable demeanour
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability and experience to confidently lead a diverse team
