We are currently hiring three Youth, Sport and Recreation Coordinators; one position per the following locations Galiwinku, Milingimbi and Ramingining. If you have a preference between locations, please make this clear in your application.
You will provide overall community based coordination and leadership of Youth, Sport, and Recreation (YSR) activities, guided by community priorities, and supporting the strategic direction of East Arnhem Regional Council.
Note: The preferred applicant must be able to travel to remote communities on a regular basis via light aircraft and/or 4WD vehicle.
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check and obtain a Working with Children Clearance. Criminal history will not exclude an applicant unless it is relevant to the position.
Full time permanent employment receiving a salary of $84,632.48 before superannuation contributions and locality allowance. You will also benefit from 6 weeks of annual leave with 17.5% leave loading. Housing will be provided in each of the three communities – Galiwinku, Milingimbi and Ramingining. Relocation and repatriation assistance will also be provided to the successful applicant.
