The Role:

Due to rapid growth in the Hunter Region, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Grants & Sponsorship Officer to join the team in our Maitland Office. A brand new position this role will support our organisation to sustainably grow and assist clients into the future.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Identifying potential grants and developing applications
  • Overseeing and monitoring grant implementation across the business and communicating grant specifics with the organisation
  • Preparing and submitting evaluation reports
  • Networking with external stakeholders and raising the profile of Early Links
  • Supporting the organisation in gaining fundraising and sponsorship support
  • Championing the organisation in the community

About you

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Have previous successful grant writing or marketing/ promotions experience
  • Have a passion for the Not For Profit sector
  • Need to be an outstanding communicator, possessing both excellent written and verbal communication styles
  • Have the ability to be adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing NDIS world
  • Be able to work independently
  • Be enthusiastic and excited about this brand new role

Please note that this position will require you to have a Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening check, First Aid Certificate & CPR, and Driver's License. If you do not currently have these that's ok, but you'll need to have them before you start.
