EACH

Who we are

At EACH, our vision is for a healthy and inclusive community.

Founded on the vision that everyone is entitled to good health, we’re one of the nation’s leading health and community service providers, offering a broad range of services for over 40 years. Our services include Community Health, Mental Health, NDIS, Counselling, Support for Older Australians and Family Services.

Who we’re looking for

If you're a proven team leader, with extensive experience and/or tertiary qualifications in human services, social work, or other related disciplines, enjoy developing people and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

We are seeking an experienced team leader with expertise in the homelessness sector to provide leadership and operational support to a team of Wellbeing Support Workers, for 18-24 months, as a part of EACH’s new Homelessness to Home (H2H) program. The role will ensure that the H2H team delivers a high standard of outreach service to clients through a strengths-based approach, meets their performance targets, and operates within the program budget.

What you’ll be doing

As a Team Lead – Homelessness to Home (H2H) you and your team of Wellbeing Support Workers are responsible for responding to the needs of community members experiencing homelessness, currently residing in hotel accommodation due to COVID 19. In this role you will lead, mentor, support, and motivate the Wellbeing Support Workers with the necessary support, supervision, training and guidance to ensure quality service provision to customers.

You will role-model service delivery expectations as you manage a small caseload of clients, enable staff to achieve their individual targets through the effective distribution and management of caseloads, and ensure services are of high quality and comply with DHHS Standards, the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act, as well as other legislative and compliance requirements.

Who you’ll be working with

In addition to working directly with your team of Wellbeing Support Workers, you will work closely with the Operations Manager-Housing, partner agencies, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, family violence services, DHHS, and other EACH support services, to achieve positive housing and health outcomes for clients.

The H2H team works with very high levels of flexibility, trust, networking, and collaboration, and members of the team will have strengths in these areas to engage with clients in the community.

What we offer

EACH offers all staff benefits by offering Not for Profit Salary Packaging, a flexible workplace strategy, and support through a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program.
