Who we're looking for

If you have experience working as a Support Worker, qualified as either Cert IV in Disability, Allied Health, Individual Support or Community services and enjoy variety in your day, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!
As part of our team in QLD, based in Wynnum, EACH has a position available for a Support Worker to work part-time 2-3 days per week to assist customers to maintain and develop their independence to lead an enriching and fulfilling life.

What you'll be doing

In line with your commitment to customer care, you will have experience working with older people, a proven ability to communicate effectively and be able to follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare and positive behaviour support plans. In this position, useful skills in creating fun and interesting activities that support older adults to engage more consistently with their community and peers will be useful. Knowledge of and experience in low care environments will be beneficial. Mostly your bubbly and energetic personality will be your key asset.

Although a typical day might be hard to come across, you will regularly be engaging with the clients in groups on outings exploring the great southeast or in our centre as they challenge their minds in a variety of activities or even at a simple gathering sharing stories.
